Healthy weight loss at mid-age is achievable... the key word being Healthy Or bodies need to be fed, not just to be filled. The quality of food we ingest is directly linked to our health... do I dare say it? We are what we eat...
OK, I've gotten that out of the way.
Personally, I have struggled with the challange of my weigh all of my life. Unfortunately when I was young,it was too much of a central theme of my life since childhood.
Another benefit of maturity...having the insight to put everything in perspective. While my weight is still a part of who I am, it is not the only definition of who I am as it has been in the past. My goal is health, and some folks may feel you don't have health if you carry extra weight. I disagree.
